Chalice matches will be decided over one game. In the event of teams ending level on points, the highest number of goals will win. Then assists; then clean sheets; then fewest goals conceded. The same goes for all finals.
Group stages of the Champion of Champions: only the top team from each group will progress to the knock-out stages. In the event of teams ending level on points, points difference will decide; then points scored; then head-to-head results, if necessary, away points will count double.
Byes in the Chalice and The Roy Pearce Trophy will be given to the following 21 teams: Those in the top two divisions; the highest-placed team not promoted from the Nursery last term.
